Obligatory Impromptu post is obligatory. | Forgive me for I’m gonna sound like the Rurouni Kenshin fan girl that I am in the next lines.
ASDFHKLOHMYFREAKINGGOODNESS! I just fainted. This Kyoto-hen special trailer of Rurouni screened the voices of some of the characters, and showed the style of art it’ll be using for the remake.
Same seiyuus for the characters, except Saito’s, and one can see the change in art style. There really isn’t much detail on some of the character’s body parts like the hair, but the backgrounds are elaborate. I’m looking forward to seeing more.
More so, if some didn’t know yet, the remake’s gonna be a two-part movie of the Kyoto-hen in the series. I would have been really happy if it was more of a continuation of the series showing the Jinchuu arc, but after much thinking, I managed to convince myself I should just really be glad that they’re making a remake after all this time.
Also, I feel especially happy that I can understand most of the Japanese they’re saying. And, part one’s showing on theaters this December 17, 2011 - while I’m in Japan!
Sigh. <3
