November 3.

TODAY:

> Woah, it’s been a long time since I made an entry like this! Feels kinda nice. Hee.

> Today’s the first day of the school festival in my university here in Japan. It’s also my first Japanese school festival too, obviously, and I was looking forward to it! As expected, there were food booths, games, exhibits, and many more - almost as the same as any school festivals anywhere in the world. The difference though that made it ‘Japanese’ are the kind of food and booths they have. And yeah, if you’re wondering, they also have a maid cafe. And I saw a guy in a really short blue maid outfit - a guy. Haha! Good.

> There was also the popular dance program from the Dance Club where my Nihongo Partner, Haruka, is a member of. She dances “Girl’s Hip Hop” and this year, her boyfriend’s performing too - breakdancing! I haven’t seen her guy today, but I did see her performance, and as usual, it’s awesome! I’m watching the program tomorrow as well. Good.

> I was with my friends during the whole day. Met up with them at around before noon, roamed around the campus and looked around booths and exhibits. There were lots of outsiders - really cute and good-looking girls and guys! - of all ages. It was a bit crowded until three in the afternoon. Good.

> Got to visit the Photo exhibit of my club today too. We helped around yesterday in setting the exhibit, and now people get to see our photos. My friends and I gave two photos each. I’ll try to take shots of the exhibit tomorrow. Good.

> After much walking, eating, and just hanging out, we went to Meiwa Hospital to visit our friend Mark. He was sent to the hospital since yesterday because he had been having stomach pains lately, to the point that he had to go back home to Australia to have further examinations on his condition. We felt so terrible when we heard the news yesterday. He’s like an older brother to me, very special. I’m still very sad that he has to leave, but this is for his health. I do hope he gets well soon though. Sigh.

> We stayed in the hospital for an hour or so (after taking so many train rides and even going on the wrong direction twice). Conversed with Mark, gave him letters and presents, and wished him all the best. We’ll definitely miss him!

> Now that I’m here at home, and I already ate really good shabu-shabu for dinner, there’s an essay I need to do which is due tomorrow. Oh, help me. Heh.
